Mark Newton has recapped his meeting this Monday with Kate Ellis. Read it here.
“Ms. Ellis had, by now, worked out that I wasn’t there to be persuaded by her, and asked for something she could take to the Minister that he could work with. That was actually “stage 2″ on my meeting plan, so I was happy to move on to it.” - Mark Newton
Australian Family Association: Oh and you know the AFA press release I was telling you about. The gist of it is the same as their ABC Online article today: Online filtering recognises families’ concerns
“Education, along with parental vigilance, is of utmost important in making the internet safer. Internet filtering has the potential to be a great tool to help parents in their difficult vigil. It may mean a larger load for ISPs to bear, but at the same time it is good to see the Government putting families concerns before commercial ones.” -Anh Nguyen is a researcher with the Australian Family Association.

Rudd is running the show, Always Has, thats how he Operates. Every cat and his dog parlimentarian on that side of the fence will merely circle the wagons.
Methinks its time for a “NO Internet Censorhip Party” if Nick Xenophon, can have a NO Pokies Party then, surely our base would be much broader. What say you people?

@Bob
“derspatz” has quite an interesting perspective on the issue.

“derspatz” is a fundamentalist Christian (unless he’s changed his spots) who always signs off regarDS where the “DS” are his initials….
I’ll leave it at that. I thought (and hoped) LTUAE had died (sigh)
