Turnbull to speak on clean feed

October 21, 2008 – 7:55 pm

Here’s some news we’ve been waiting on. Malcolm Turnbull has written on Twitter that he will soon respond to queries about mandatory ISP filtering. See Turbull’s Twitter feed here. Hopefully Turnbull will shed light on where the Lib’s stand on filtering within the next 24 hours. I’ll keep you updated.

Turnbull joined Twitter last week.

Thanks Eddie for the tip off.

Update 23/10/08 10AM: Still no update. I think he’s busy.

  2. Any politician that knows what twitter is let alone uses it has to have the understanding of exactly how unworkable the filter is. Good news perhaps.

It would also be a brilliant opportunity to make Rudd love very stupid :-)

  5. @Adam: Awful visual you gave me there :D

@Sean: I’m hoping Turnbull’s advisers have seen how many of us are opposed and suggest he act accordingly.
