Mandatory ISP filtering mind map

November 22, 2008 – 5:41 pm

Jay from Fingerpuppetmafia.com has created a detailed mind map of the current ISP filtering plan. It’s available here in Flash, and here as an image. An updated section mapping Clive Hamilton’s involvement has also been created.

Jay says it’s incomplete, so please offer feedback.

  2. Although a bit tricky to navigate through, most of the information appears to be there and its set out in quite an organised manner. Nice image.

  3. Ah.. I like the “mindmap” but the abbreviation for “Mandatory ISP Level Internet Filtering” is wrong.

It should be spelt “MILF” and not “MILIF”.

I’d always wondered what this MILF was and then I saw it on the mindmap spelt “MILIF” instead of “MILF”.

I just did a google search on MILF (due to my curiousity as to how many entries there may be with regards to this wonderful MILF scheme and lo and behond google tells me that there about 54 million 300 thousand references to the “MILF”.

I suggest Senator Conroy conducts a google search for MILF (Mandatory ISP Internet Filtering ) as part of the trials in Tasmania.

Gosh I reckon he’ll be surprised how many people are interested in the MILF scheme :-)

(ummm… perhaps there’s a bit of filtering work to be done as I’m not certain that a few of the results will be acceptable to Senator Conroy.

Oh. There’s about 160 thousand MILF (Mandatory ISP Level Filtering) videos on the net via a google video search…. :-)

BTW: A google search on “nocensorshipaus” worldwide pulls in 692 results most of them overseas..

MILF = Mandatory ISP Level Filtering !

phew.. I thought it was an acronym for something entirely different….

    tic (tongue in cheek) :-)

  7. The solution to our problems seems clear.

We need to re-define the words ‘Rudd’ and ‘Conroy’ to include new new meanings. Perhaps the porn folk could hold a competition?

    Here’s my initial suggestive suggestions:

“He gave her the best Rudd she’d ever had”

“she slid her fingernails slowly up his throbbing Conroy”

Then we sit back while the new mandatory filters erase all memory of these characters from Australia’s web…
