Catharine Lumby will speak at a Sydney Institute event this Tuesday about her new book The Porn Report. Lumby co-authored the report on Australia’s production and consumption of pornography with Alan McKee of QUT and Kath Albury of UNSW.

    I guess tomorrow will be spent wandering around Darling Harbour and then listening to Ms. Lumby. I have a copy of the book although there’s some examples of real hard core porn to be found in George Street.

    There are excellent views of Sydney to be had from Governor Philip Tower. It’s where the Australian Computer Society used to hold it’s meetings.

    I’ll report on anything that may be of interest.
