I agree with James.

I would not stay with an ISP that participates in the trial – and believe we should BOYCOTT any ISP that does.

An ‘insider’ told me that if no ISPs could be found to participate in the trials, the Government “would have a real problem” (he was, however, confident they would find ISPs and mentioned some had been in contact)

It can’t compel ISPs to participate without legislation. I’d love to see Conroy take that Bill to Parliament and get it through.

If no ISPs participate in the trials, I think it would be a game-changer.

This seems to have been a direct quote from a post on Whirlpool by a third party – do you know whether it’s been definitely confirmed as originating with Malone?

Glad I moved away from iinet then, even if they want to prove a point, they should just say no to this. It shouldn’t even be considered. iinet have been poor since they changed from ihug anyway.
I’ll be letting as many people I can show how to bypass this garbage and will setup some servers O.S to offer the free people the internet they deserve. The internet should be for the people and should stay that way. The Government has no right to limit our freedoms like this. To hell with you Conroy, you’re a disgrace to democracy.
