Have been in Labour, notice Labour not the americanised labor, all my life. Cannot remember how many strikes, political rallies, protest movements I have been involved in, am even a past president of a Labour Party Branch.
At last I have given birth, this internet filter crap is the last straw for me. I will not, for the rest of my days on this earth, support, vote for or in any way assist the labor party. I will, in every way I know how, from this point on, actively campaign against the labor party.

Call me paranoid but I don't trust the government. There is no reason why they couldn't use this to block things they don't want us to know. Don't believe me? ask Darren Hinch. You wouldn't believe the things that don't make the mainstream news. Then there is all the propaganda and lies they feed people, (look at the lies from the Howard government) this sounds like something the Nazis would have done if the internet had existed back then. If these sites are legitimate child abuse sites, then track down the operators arrest them and shut the sites down. It's ironic they claim that this is to stop child pornography sites, I remember a few years ago when about 150 computers were seized and police, judges and politicians were arrested, only to have the computers go missing from police storage. Bullshit! they have no intention of stopping child pornography, they're just pedos looking after there own. This is just another form of control.

I think this is a disgrace. i understand the principal of this process, but I make responsible choices, i do what is right for myself. i guess this government believes it can dictate to society what it believes to be appropriate (until the next election). BRING BACK DEMOCRACY!!!
